Day 37: Lots To Do...

I was super sick yesterday so nothing got done. Which just means that today I have to pick up the slack. So, I need to do character development sheets. I don't want to put easy questions like "What is you favorite color?". I want questions that will take a little more thought.

So, if you have any suggestions please leave them in the comments! I would love some help!

  1. One of my favorites is from Elizabeth George (Write Away) - what's in (your character's) refrigerator? On his bulletin board? What type of car does he drive?

She also suggests writing a character analysis: core needs, pathological maneuvers, circumstances/anecdote that illustrates character's personality, and what character wants.

That may be more than you want though. Good luck!

  2. Would your character take someone's life? What if it meant saving him or herself? Saving his/her family?

  3. Who were the past loves of your character's life? Were they people, places or things?
What is your character most proud of having achieved? Does he/she have anything they've never told anyone? If so, why?
I love character questions! Could ask all day long!
